Hi, I’m Maddie, a Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist, vet tech, and lifelong animal advocate. I’ve fostered, volunteered, and worked in animal shelters for years, and I’ve always had dogs by my side. But my real journey in canine nutrition started with my own dog. When I brought him home, I followed the kibble recommendation from the shelter — only to realize how harmful the ingredients were. He struggled with soft stool, low energy, allergies, and he just didn’t enjoy eating.

That experience drove me to dig deeper into what’s really inside commercial pet foods. What I discovered shocked me: hidden fillers, poor-quality ingredients, and marketing that makes harmful foods look safe. From there, I began experimenting — trying better kibbles, fresh foods, raw diets, and homemade meals. The results were incredible: my dog’s energy came back, his coat shined, his allergies disappeared, and his overall health transformed.

Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to helping dogs and their families find the nutrition that works best for them, creating Crunchy's Canine Nutrition. Every dog is different — some need support with skin and coat health, others struggle with chronic conditions, obesity, or being picky eaters. I specialize in creating individualized plans that can include better kibble, fresh food, raw diets, or homemade recipes designed specifically for your dog. I also help pet parents find healthier bones, chews, and treats that support long-term wellness. 

My mission is simple: to give dogs healthier, happier lives through food. I believe nutrition is one of the most powerful tools we have to prevent illness, support healing, and improve quality of life. Whether you’re looking for small changes like healthier treats or a complete diet overhaul, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

I’m also currently pursuing certification in canine herbalism, expanding my ability to use natural, holistic approaches to support health and healing. With my background as a vet tech, years of hands-on shelter work, and professional training in canine nutrition, I bring both science-based knowledge and real-world experience to every plan I create.
